yeah thats happened to me a lot, but I can get just as annoyed when I feel like I'm ONLY getting other jobs b/c I have tattoos, not b/c of actual modeling skill haha. So I feel like it balances out- for as many castings I don't get called back on b/c I have tattoos, I get called back on that many more for people who specifically want someone tattooed for the project/client.


I've had that a lot too. Sometimes I get denied work b/c of my tattoos (or photographers hire me and then just complain to my face about my tattoos) but I have gotten a lot of people who have hired me specifically to shoot my back piece. I have so many photos of the wings on my back I'm almost sick of them, lol.

For a lot of people it's about the fantasy. They want to believe that they could actually be watching porn of some high school chick, not a fetish model who is just getting paid to do what she normally does. But it is really irritating when you have tattoos and lose work because of it.

I'm still in college but working in a bio lab. No one has ever said anything negative about my tattoos or piercings so I guess it doesn't matter. The only job I had recently where I had to remove a piercing was when I was working at a zoo because it was a safety issues. Monkeys love shiny objects!

Yeah that happened to me actually, in the long run though I wasn't bothered but at the time I was pretty pissed. I fit the description and briefs well enough, its just that they didn't want a tattooed girl doing it plain and simple. Fine by me!
