firewire 800 is pleasant. i bet 1.6 will be twice as fast. apple kind of botched the format i think. i feel my drives will go the way of syquests and zips.

The new flavor of Firewire is set to come out too, but nobody really cares about that. It's set to run at 1.6Gbps and 3.2Gbps depending on the version. It'll be interesting to see how USB3 measures up in terms of real-world throughput. USB 2, while rated 20% faster than FW400 actually performs slower due to file transfer overhead.

can anyone help me with this shit? i'm trying to record some stuff of me playin some of my music, just real basic so i can chuck it round the place but the video delay is making me look like a fuckin half-wit.
i'm using the crappy integrated cam on my laptop, with no programs except for the basic driver, sux! nothing else is running and this thing is a gig with 7+ free, stupid machines!

There is one book in particular I am looking for, Milk, Money, and Madness: The Culture and Politics of Breastfeeding. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, even if you don't know where I can find this book.

I like how the popup blocker just puts the window down in the bottom right hand corner, and to unblock it you just move it up. I still keep finding new things after 2 days HA
