I was just sitting here in my little house with my best friend complaining about being super broke until Thursday and wishing we could drive up to seattle and have some foie gras torchon. Sitting in the sunny bay with my girl Gwindylyn and Mr. Satan drinking thai iced teas and enjoying myself thoroughly. This has been a pretty damn perfect vacation. good food, friends, weather and maybe even a cute boy or two. I am very excited about my summer plans. Two trips to New York, hopping on one tour, Oregon beach bumming and a few more times back in Oakland. I love my life. Lots of bike riding, scrabble, porch drinking and stoop reading.

Lordy lord has it been craziness these past few months. Full of the drams... But now I'm a single, ecstatic and much more relaxed lady. And I have been cooking up a storm and working on a new zine and making plans for east coast travels this summer. I started playing drums. I basically haven't been without a live in boyfriend since I was sixteen. Six years later, I am ready to be alone for a while. I'm better off when I'm alone even if I am a miserable codependent fuck usually. Being alone means more art, more music, more friends, and most importantly, more dinner parties!

Tonight I am making roast chicken with balsamic glazed rainbow carrots, roast red potatoes and endive, tarragon asparagus with morels and home made baguette. Plus my girl, who is a terrific pro baker, will be whipping up some fabulous dessert concoction, possibly princess cake. mmmmmm. Don't you wish you were coming over for dinner this evening? Just a typical night at the nice house.

Other than my culinary adventures, I am missing my girls: Gwindylyn, Aries and Arin.

That was a night of excess. Sweet fancy moses does my head hurt. I am lying in a crazy hipster hotel with Arin, Aries and Gwindylyn and despite the throbbing in my temples, I feel pretty darn good. And more importantly, I think Aries had a pretty darn good birthday.

I am not too down with compiling annotated bibliographies at three in the morning. Not too down at all. There are a couple of books I want to get information out of, but they are pretty gosh darned expensive ($120-$190) so I though I would see if anyone around here has them, and if I sent them a kinkos card, if they could make photocopies of the pertinent parts and mail them to me. Either that, or if I could borrow the actual books (I PROMISE they will be promptly returned and in exactly the same shape as when you shipped them out).

Go check out my snatch in my new set! Mad props to my baby girl Aries for the hair, shoes, little pink number and the love. Oh yah, and the frilly panties! O.K. sooooo, now for two VERY important questions (well, the first one especially). 1. So I just started playing Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess for wii. This is a big step for me, since other than Guitar Hero, I have never touched a gaming system other than super nintendo (and have only played Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong 1 and 2 on that). I am stuck at a part that might be a glitch, or might just be me being a videogame tard. I am in the Forrest Temple part 2 (pretty shortly after you spank the baboon) at the part where there is a big roling gate that I can't open. There are four pillars in square formation outside that gate with windmills on top and a pattern that looks like a backwards Z between them. After hours of frusteration, I went to go look at some online cheats which all say I'm doing the right thing (throwing my boomarang with the z-lock button at the windmills in the order followin the Z pattern. I've tried this a million times (and in both directions) and the gate won't open. I know from the cheats that it holds a big key. How important is this key? What will I not be able to do without it? What am I doing wrong? I don't know if this is important but I accidentally shot down the bridge with my boomarang so I can only get to the gate by crawling on the ivy. SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!! 2. Ladies,(or gents I guess) have you had any expirience selling your used panties, stockings, socks, toe jam, bodily fluids, used tampons, etc? I read an article in vice about this years ago and I wanna know more. If you have the lowdown, let me know. thanks kids!

This is me in my pink room. I quit my coffee slave jobus and am concentrating on zines and stencils and drawings and printmaking and just generally trying to keep on keeping on and not letting the winter get me down. The raining and pouring and hailing and greyness of these months tends to turn me into a pretty sad panda. So I wanted to come see my mama and also the fine owners of this very site. So we are watching Lady and the Tramp and snacking on fried plantains and avocados. On my top secret-spur of the moment journey down I-5 the fog hung low over the mountains and it was all "shrouded by the mists of the lands of our fathers" LoTRs core. Pretty darned beautiful. Speaking of LoTR, I've been watching lots of Norwegian black metal documentaries. Lots of Gorgoroth and Mayhem. Gaal and Varg and the likes of them, they are some crazy kids, let me tell ya. The V-meister is up for parole in April of 08 (but let me tell ya, prison in the frosty north sounds like a cake walk: weekends home, keyboards, continuing to release albums while doin' time for murder and a max sentence of 22 years. Burzum: coming to a church near you!

So other than getting super lost in Portland a bunch, I had a pretty darn fabulous day. I actually showered and then ate tasty thai food and did some rad shoots with Mr. Lithium Picnic. I didn't get back to the forest until three in the morning and crawled into bed with my darlin, but I tossed and turned for forty five minutes before realizing my efforts at snoozing were going to be in vain. I have to go to work in about forty minutes which doesn't sound terribly pleasant at the moment. Even if it does mean perfectly pulled espresso and fabulous milk texture with a pretty rosetta on the top. Latte art is fun. At least I only have to work until noon-ish. Then lots of zzzzzzs. My doggles is making cute, funny sleep sounds like he's chasing little bunny rabbits or persuing some equally canine dream.

I adore her.

Hello Darlings,

Sorry it has been so long. Everything has been absolutely batshit crazy as of late. Devon is doing fabulous, he got his skull stuck back in his head finally! He's well on the road back to totally normal. I'm having a lovely afternoon lazing around with Gwin, watching Family Guy and ordering delivery puerto rican food. Tasty, tasty. I'm moving up to Washington for school this comming Saturday. Gus and I are not excited about that twelve hour drive though....lame. I do have a super sweet house in Washington though, with a SAUNA. fuck yah. I just had a new set go up on www.burningangel.com. I will hopefully have a bunch of sassy new sets on DN soon! Hmmm..... lets see what else. I got my tooth all gold and shit. They ground down my real tooth to a tiny little nub and put fancy white blingyness all over it for good. I got a new car. Subarus are the shit.

Christ on a cracker. Life has been pretty darn crazy these last few months. Devon is on the mend, I'm moving out of Oakland (finally, jeeze), its still nice enough outside to barbeque with some frequency.... Yessir, things are looking up. Some exciting new things have been going on.

*First and foremost, Aries and I have some very sweet solo and duo sets going up soon! So keep yer eyes peeled.

* My very first porno video when live on www.Burningangel.com this week. I hate talking on camera but other than that, I am pretty gosh darned stoked. You go see the trailer for free. Me and Joanna Angel get down for some sweet girly lovin'.

* I am on the cover of International Tattoo Art Magazine for the month of December. I am not terribly excited about their choice of photo, but hey, what's a girl to do huh? I think there is at least one other photo inside.

* Devon is doing amazing. He gets out of neuro rehab on the 20th.

Holy smokes. Today is my birfday. July is always the worst month and now it is over. Hopefully no more shitty packing, no more violent home invasions, no more boyfriends getting shot in the head in front of me, no more hopping around the house naked and hysterica covered in other peoples blood while a gazillion paramedics and cops swarm around, no more bein' quite such a youngster. Soon hopefully no more hospital nights, no more being afraid to walk down the street, no more Oakland, no more california and lots more porn. and a quiet, happy life in the middle of fucking nowhere. Devon is doing amazing. For the past four days his eyes have been open and able to follow us around. He had his breathing tube and ventriqu drain in his head removed two days ago and is able to talk (although barely, mostly having to do with his throat being sore from the tube).

He knows his name, recognizes me, was able to tell me my name, he is able to say "no" or shake his head "yes" to a variety of simple questions. He was able to say "you wanna go!" to his close friend Matt. He was able to tell another friend "fuck you" in a humorous manner." When the nurse asked if he would tattoo again he laughed and whispered "tommarow."
Last week, Devon was a 6 on the coma scale of 1-15 (with us being fifteen and anything below 3 being a rock). Now he is a 14 which is amazing. His sole point off was from when the nurse asked him where he was and his response was "Los Angeles."

His breathing is great. All the bandages and staples are removed from his head. He can make the same funny faces when you ask him too and kiss back. His grip has suprisingly strength. This will be a very slow process. Recuperation may take some time, but I am positive he is the same person he was before all this happened. The ICU staff beleive he will be moved to the Transitory Care Unit on Monday. Thank you so much for all of your love and support.
