Yummy. Just finished making chocolate dipped strawberries. I am a bit excited, as I may be heading to Paris this April!! I will get to stay with friend, hurtmeso, and eat her delicious cooking!

This weekend has been nice and relaxing. I took little man to the park, did laundry, and have been reading a lot! I have gone through two books in the last 5 days. I am heading to LA for the Thanksgiving to chill with a buddy of mine. I am actually not doing a photo shoot while there! Just hanging out and enoying the company of folks.

I have been seriously contemplating in getting my Masters. I am contacting the school tomorrow and see what happens. I blame Pillasco for this! Ha!!

I do miss San Fran. I miss my roomates. I miss sleeping next to hot Jane Jett. She would rub my hair while I fell into a deep sleep. And she smells sooooo good. The pillows had her smell. It was wonderful. I want to hang out again, with Suzy, Miss D, Mr Ed, and of course Cooter!! I want to chill at the DN headquarters of Satan's and Gwindylin's. I want to see Jeebus and his wife Chixor.

Time to fold the clothes and sleep!!!

Exotica Detroit Recap

Exotica Detroit 4 was a joy to attend!

Instead of boring you with details, I will leave little highlights that capture the past weekend.

Attended the meet and greet on Friday, was able to see old friends, especially Steve Diet Goedde, and meet new ones.
Passing out early Friday eve, to awake to Nicotine and Phobia arriving at 2am. And laughing my head off to Phobias glee over his statements that include "lets play my little pony" and "i can't find my Prince Albert ring, it was on my pinky".
Had a blast shooting with Jeff D. Cohn, aka Jeff C Fetish, on Saturday. I cannot wait to see the images!!!!
Stressed about the workshop since half of the slides dissappeared and I had to recreate it. Overall, it went alright. Not my best, but I am thankful for those who attended.
Received a cool glow ring from Perry Gallagher. Wonder twins, roll!!!!
Watched half naked chicks swing through the air and dance with fire. HOT!
Pain Tribe's zombie routine rules.....I want to be on stage with a straight jacket acting like a zombie!!!
Loved the Ego Assassin latex outfit!! Love it!!! Love them!!!! It was too bad they could not make it. But, I still love them!
Hung out with Angela Ryan, Emily Marilyn and Curse Mackey on Saturday. Before we left the event, Emily and I had are feet rubbed by generous strangers. After wearing heels all eve, it was amazing to receive.

Last, but not least, seeing snow fall!!! (I have not seen snow in 5 years!)

Oh boy. So, I am no longer driving back and forth to Phoenix. I started my position where I live. I find, though, that with small towns, there seems to be a lot of small mentality. It seems as people focus on petty things and gossip. I have not had to deal with that in such a long time. Mainly, I happily choose to let people in my life who are positive. And my last job, i was autonomous and worked 3 long days.

Again, another weekend trip away from the computer and I arrive to wonderful journals and emails!

First, here is an image by Steve Diet Goedde that we took in Tucson this year. He used a Holga camera, which creates such great raw images.If you are not familiar with the Holga, Wikipedia says, "The Holga is an inexpensive, medium format 120 film toy camera, made in China, appreciated for its low-fidelity aesthetic." Thank you Wikipedia.

Also, I received this image from an artist name Raz.

The image will look familiar to you as it is based on Steve Diet Goedde's picture of me as a blonde.

Otherwise, I have a plan. I am moving my furniture tomorrow to my new location. As much as I would like to move next year, I have finalized a plan that will put me at my financial goals in 2010. Thus, I am happy.
