Heya all

Im totally psyched today because my partner and I have decided to move to USA for good. We're going to move to San Francisco. Ive got family over there and can't wait to do it.

Ive got to find a workplace to sponsor me to move there. I need to find someone willing to fill in the forms and say how awesome I am and why they need me to come work for them!!

Im in two minds: Id love ideally to go work for a sexual health centre/ planned parenthood or a feminist organisation. Id also love to work at a bar as a dancer/barmaid... Ive always loved that and worked in a bar for years. But I dunno if a bar owner can sponsor me to come live in the US!!

Anyway to all you bay area folks... Ill definately have moved within a year, maximum. I cant freakin wait. I have a great feeling Im going to come into some money very soon too.

So I sat for another 3 hours yesterday and it hurt like a fucking bitch this time because he was going OVER and OVER the same bits, shading and adding colours, fuck. So I took a Xanax because I was a bit freaked and have a tendency to not cope well with adrenaline... and then went out and got drunk after and dont remember a thing except ordering indian food and falling asleep before it arrived, and my boy had to wake me to eat.... and also spilling loads of work secrets to a volunteer who works with us... argh.

Then I got an email firing me from my part time teaching job because I didnt show up for a class I didnt know was on because I misread the timetable. I have no fucking clue how I did it but its the second time thats happened so goddammit!! I think the universe is telling me Im doing too much and I need to slow down a bit. On my to do list is a full time job, running 2 workshops at a feminist gathering in may, working on developing a 6-week evening course starting in August, volunteering with a prochoice organisation, having a social life, seeing my family and maintaining a healthy relationship.

So Im gonna take a few deep breaths and roll with the punches, and just let that job go, because I obviously need the room in my life for other stuff.

Heres some nice thoughts to leave you with. I read these and felt happy.

Instructions for life:

I was working all weekend at a conference and had arranged to take the morning off... but I ended up taking the whole day. You dont realise how much you NEED weekends to rejuvinate and spend some time with yourself... today just flew by, I went to the gym, fed the swans outside my house, chilled out and ate food.... and I feel so much more HUMAN now!!! I was in a shit mood this morning....

Yay for days off!!!
