I get a random phone call from a cop. "Hi, is this Samantha?  If so your car was just involved in a hit and run accident." Me: "I'm sorry you must be mistaken, I don't have a car." Cop: "Well we ran the plates and your name came up." Me: "Is it a subaru legacy?  Cause I sold that almost two years ago." Cop: "Who did you sell it to?" Me: "I can't remember the ladies name." Cop: "Do you have the bill of sale?" Me: "I probably did, but I've moved so many times since then that I'm sure it's long gone." Cop: "So you are telling me that you sold your car two years ago, can't remember who you sold it to and have no proof that you sold it?" Me: "Yep, thats exactly what I'm saying haha.  Not to mention that I haven't lived in Oregon for the last year." Cop: "Do you have proof that you don't live in Oregon?" Me: "I have a job here, is that proof enough?" Anyways, you get the point.  We go back and fourth cause the lady totally doesn't believe me that the car isn't mine and that I don't live in Oregon haha.  So I end up having her talk to my uncle cause I'm all freaked out haha.  So finally the lady believes me that I don't live there anymore, but wants me to figure out who I sold the car to.  How am I suppose to remember that?!  And why the hell hasn't the person I sold it to registered the damn car in her own damn name?!  So the next day I call the DMV to ask them about me sending in my paper work stating that I sold the car and the lady tells me that they almost never receive the paperwork in the mail and we are suppose to call in saying that we sold the car blah blah blah.  What the hell, why wouldn't they get something like that in the mail?!  So I call the cop to tell her all this and she doesn't answer and then I missed her call and return it again and she doesn't answer again.  I just got off the phone with her a second ago and she told me that I was pretty much in the clear since I talked to the DMV lady and she also talked to the chick's insurance that got hit and cleared me with all that crap.  However now I'm on like a goose chase to find this stupid chick that I sold the car to, so this poor persons insurances doesn't fuck her over haha.  I already dug through old emails and figured out the month that I was selling the car, but no emails from the lady.  So I'm pulling my phone records to hopefully get a number list of people it could potentionally be.  Blah totally don't want to deal with this.  Thank god I told live in Oregon right now, otherwise I may be paying to fix this person's car hahaha. I feel like I had something else to say, but my ears are overwhelmed with little kid voices, so I think I'm gunna go hide in the shower or something.
