For a little while I've been trying to get a little soap business going :) Starting with Etsy of course! I love Etsy. Anyhow I listed some soaps that would be great for Valentine's Day, though not strictly of course! I figured I'd share with you the post I put up on myspace about them! Hope you like!:

There's still a couple weeks till Valentine's Day! Plenty of time for me to ship you some soap! I added some more, too - BLUEBERRY soap, and Fresh Cut Roses (have you ever smelled the Yankee Candle of the same fragrance? WOW so good). It's all listed at my ETSY page! They make it really easy to purchase stuff, and you'll see there's a whole lot more than just soap on Etsy. Look up your favorite game, movie, subject, book.... and surely someone will have made something awesome of it! Gotta love the Etsy :)

I <3 Dexter, and Comic Con!

The end of July was pretty awesome - my bf & I went to the San Diego Comic Con again! This was our second time for the SD one. Probably my favorite.
I got quite a few pictures taken, so this will be mostly a picture entry. And you'll see that I have a lot of LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE for Dexter, so I went to the Dexter panel and took pictures, then saw the Dexter stuff out on the convention floor and took pictures of that as well. You'll be seein quite a bit of Dexter right about now! :D

We were on like the 3rd row from the front at the Dexter panel - YESSSS! We stayed through 3 panels before it just so we could make sure and get right up close. And good thing too, because afterwards we heard that there had been a HUGE line and lots of people were turned away because it was too full. Guess they weren't as dedicated as I.... *sigh* :P

Michael C. Hall (Dexter) and Julie Benz (Rita) .....almost looks as though he's looking right at me. Mmmmaybe...?

The Dexter bobble heads out on the convention floor. I thought they all looked pretty spot-on except Rita maybe... she's much prettier in real life. And more from the Dexter glass case...

While I was taking a picture of these costumed girls, "some kid" with a green hat on ran in front of my camera, ducking so he could also take a picture of them. After taking the picture and thinking in my head, "What an asshole kid..." I realized it was SETH GREEN!
After seeing him numerous times througout the convention and seeing him mingle with people I realized he is one of the nicest celebrities I've ever seen! We'd said hello to him one day, and the next day he recognized us again, pointed at us, and said "Hey you guys!"
Nice dude.

I went to the REd Sonja panel as well, but we were pretty far back at that point, so this picture's a little low-quality.

Arrested Development movie, Raspberries = oh boy!

Has anyone heard about the Arrested Development movie they're making? WOO HOO! I miss that show - was always pretty bitter about them cancelling it. The movie is rumored to be done in 2009, but who knows? Supposedly they're also making a SIMS movie around the same time. A SIMS MOVIE? Oh dear god. I don't know about that one. I can't imagine how they could pull it off without it being completely retarded :)

Anyways, I got the Raspberries/little candy plants tattoos finished on my right arm. It's a confusing one to explain. To me, the first time I saw the piece of art I was reminded of all the yummy plump raspberries I used to eat from the raspberry bush in the backyard of my childhood home. But the artist (myspace.com/stinkycandykills) drew them as a little "candy land" (not the game) type theme. So they're just yummy berry-looking plants. So when people ask me "What are those tattoos?" I usually just say raspberries but almost feel bad doing so. So, uh, now you know:

I guess it's about time I took some pictures of my finished Aphrodite IX (one of my favorite comic book characters) leg tattoo, eh? I LOVE how it turned out - it's ridiculously detailed and...did I mention I love it?

Cupcakey tattoos!

I got a couple more little Noir Nouar tattoos. One of them finished, the other one just started. First one's a chocolate cupcake with cherries on top, and the second one WILL be a blueberry cupcake once it's colored in! Mmmmmm! Noir Nouar makes the most darling art!

At first glance, it almost looks like the chocolate one's holding a candycane with its human arm, but nope.That's just a piece of one of my Ryden tattoos.

And here are alllll of her cupcakes! They're all so cute, so it was a bit hard to choose. But hey - maybe I'll get more of them later on. I just have to see how everything comes together.

I promise I will have some new pictures/a new set soon! It's been awhile, but I am going to hop to it!

I cannot even BELIEVE how damn good my tattoo artist is....good lord.... obviously I'm not disappointed whatsoever in the work I got done yesterday. So much detail!!! And the pain, again, was bearable. He told me, "This is going to take awhile to finish - I'm not gonna lie to ya"...but I really don't care. I'd rather it look amazing than be done in a couple quick sittings. I'll stop jabbering on, and show ya the work already: :)

And, again, the original below, by Clarence Lansang - I just recently learned a lot more about him. Insanely amazing artist!

In other news, I think I may have destroyed all the June Bugs around my house. It's not even June, but there were sure hundreds of the damn things stuck to the side of my house and somehow getting inside (probably through the windows, which are pretty old). Last year was a June Bug nightmare, so this time I was ready! I got a big ol poison sprayer and went to town on my house......every window soaked, every foot of the outside of the house I could possibly reach got sprayed! Bugs came fallin down, so I had to jump out of the way a few times. It was disgusting how many there were. Blechhhhhhhh! And for the past two days, I haven't seen one. Muahahahahahaha!!!!! I think I've won this battle!!!

Speaking of battles, I finally saw 300 last night! FUCKING AMAZING! It definitely lived up to the hype. Frank Miller is some sort of genius :)

Leg tattoos aren't so bad after all!

I finally decided to get a leg tattoo! THE leg tattoo of all leg tattoos! lol. It's my favorite comic book character, Aphrodite IX, drawn by Clarence Lansang! GOD DAMN it's an amazing picture. I just had to get it inked onto my body. I don't recall being this excited about any of my other tattoos...this one may become my favorite! Though I do adore my little wrist Spidey.... ;P

Here's a picture I took of it so far.....I don't know how many appointments this tattoo will take but I'll keep you all posted on its progress! And by the way, thank you Roulette (she'll have a set on DN in the not-so-far future, so look her up!) SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SOSO SO SO MUCH for trading me tattoo appointments! I'll get this bad-boy worked on March 13th (or is it 14th?) - VERY excited!

Err....might've sharpened it too much in a couple spots...I just wanted it to show up better, but.....well yeah :) Sorry!

Has anyone watched that show called Tim & Eric Awesome Show: Great Job!? It's actually pretty damn funny (to me). I can see how people might find it....confusing and un-funny, but it's exactly my humor. So was Mr. Show when it used to be on. Sarah Silverman Program is pretty close as well.

My DN dream last night....

DAMN......just before I woke up about 20 minutes ago I dreamed a little dream.... I dreamed that my set went up on Deviant Nation. lol. But it wasn't the same set that's actually going up, it was a crazy weird set. It was all in .gif or flash format, and every picture was of me doing silly little dances and such in a supa-cool leotard or something like that. And there was always a big blue light behind me in each one. I remember one of the pictures was 3 of me, and each was doing a different dance at the same time. It was quite clever, and I remember getting excited and saving it to "My Documents".
Suddenly comments started up on the set. There were 3 comments. One was nice, but kinda stupid....a guy wrote, "I will always love you" or something like that, and I was like, "awww that's very nice". And the other two comments were kinda mean and made me cry (in my dream). One guy was like, "Yawn. Most boring set ever". And I can't remember the other mean one. That's the thing about dreams...DAMMIT! It bugs me when I can't remember.
But the point is.......weird dream.
I figured I'd log into DN first this afternoon, because..... lol.......I was still groggy, and at the edge of believing maybe it was true in real life too! :P But DURRRRRR..... of course not!

Sammy Davis Jr. A.K.A. the Caterpillar.....deserves to have a better picture of his caricature shown :) Here's for you, Sammy!!!!!! (and Ringo, and Carol, and...whoever played Alice in that movie...Natalie-something). On the 26th I'll get another character on the other side so it'll be all evened out. A little painful, but I'm excited nevertheless! Maybe it won't be an "off" day, and it won't be as tough to handle!
