<itunes:summary>I've been sewing nonstop, making as many Frank costumes as I can before Halloween. I have them up on Ebay for sale right now and my ebay user ID is "jamie.b." if you wanna check them out. I only have time to make about 6 more before Halloween this year, though, so I'm only selling them on Ebay and letting people bid on them, since I can't keep up with all the requests from people who want one.
This short video was made by an awesome guy who is wearing one of my costumes I made for him. His music is great and he is super talented.
<itunes:summary>I've finished a few new pieces that I uploaded in my pictures section. For some reason, it won't let me add captions to the pictures so I'm just using the comments section instead.
I've been working at a new job the past few months for a really great artist and super sweet guy named John who has his own stained glass business. It's just me working with him right now, and it's part time work, and I love it. I get to make glass art all day long and get paid for it, and it never gets boring. I come home and work on more glass projects, then get up and do it again.
When I'm not working on glass, I'm sewing "Frank" costumes from Donnie Darko and selling them on ebay. My ebay user ID is "jamie.b" if you'd like to check out some of the costumes I've been selling. If I don't current;y have one up for bid, you can see my past auctions by looking at my buyer feedback.
Gotta run to get more sewing done and get a costume shipped out before 5 today.
</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>I'm so busy with 2 jobs, no days off, and all kinds of side projects, I'm hardly ever online. When I am, I usually just get on MySpce & send messages out to a few people and answer messages there. Jeez, I feel like a flake, though I know I shouldn't, since I do have very little free time.
  My friend Sean is working on my new website, www.skullandbonesproductions and it should have a few things up for sale by next week. I'll be putting up all my little fused glass skull pins and random fused glass art, along with my knitted penis scarves and all that good stuff.
I can't wait to start selling stuff on there and taking on more commissions, and being able to leave one of my jobs and do my own thing instead of working for other people nonstop every day.
  I just finished 2 really big stained glass windows I got commissioned to design and make, and now I'm going to be working on one for myself to enter in a big yearly art show we have here in Eugene. It's going to look like a religious window from a distance, but George Bush will be in the center, posed like Jesus, with rays of light radiating from him that are filled with dollar signs & other stuff, then US soldiers in camoflauge in the background with explosions & bombs everywhere, and bodies of innocent people all over the bottom. What do you think? I only have until August 27th to finish it, so I won't be able to make it as big or detailed as I'd like, but I think I can still pull off making it pretty cool.
I'm also scrambling to get more stuff made to sell at the Eugene Gay Pride festival August 11th I'll have a booth at, and then on the 12th I'll be at the Potland Zine Symposium and have what's left over at my table there.
  well, that's about all I have time to write about now- gotta get to work on that window.

      <itunes:summary>Christ, it's been a super long time since I've been on here. Sorry! I've been working 2 full time jobs with no days off, plus have a few commissioned windows & random art projects I spend all my free time trying to finish. Seems I never have time to do anything for myself, and barely find the time to sleep. You'd think I'd have a ton of money saved up, right? I guess I should, but I've got a ton of bills so the money is gone as soon as I get it. It will still take me 4 years to get all my debt from school & other crap paid off, and my roommate is moving in less than a month so now my rent will double. Yikes!
I'm dying to get painting again, but letely all I have time for (and what sells) are little crafty things, so I've been knitting and sewing a lot.
Gotta run to get back to work. I posted a couple new pictures on here of my penis scarves I've been knitting and a new stained glass mosaic I just finished. I have a ton more new things, but no pics of them yet. Gotta remember to get them up here. Hope everyone has a great Xmas! :)</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>Hi everyone! Just posted some pictures of my new art studio. If you look in my pictures, it's under "New Art Studio". A couple "before" pics I took of the 2 main rooms the day the lease was signed, then some pictures of it a few days ago. My friend liked the idea of my Yellow Brick road design on the floor, but hated the colors, plus she picked out all the wall colors for this room and it would have looked horrible with her color scheme, so I compromised and made the design 2 shades of pink with a lavender background on the rest of the floor. I'll post better pictures soon. We've now moved all our stuff into the front room and I still have the backroom to fix. Haven't decided if I should take down all the soundproofing on the walls, since it's so dark brown and makes the place darker. Hmmmmm......
Anyway, gotta get to bed.</itunes:summary>

Hi everyone!
Anyway, gotta get to bed.

I Just signed a lease last week on a 1300 square foot art studio that kicks sooooo much ass! It is attached to a bunch of other cool artist's studios, (the complex on 2nd & Blair, if you're familiar with Eugene, Oregon) and is zoned for business so I can open it up to the public to sell stuff and for art receptions. It has a kickass lobby, glass doors into the main room,2 raised steel counters that are up on a stage that had previously been used for bands to play on. The ceilings are super high, and the back room is almost soundproof and has a big skylight in the middle of it. I'll be sharing it with my friend Tamaris and maybe another artist. We'll be doing the Last Friday ArtWalk here in town, and will have studio sales and all that jazz, with bands playing and food & wine. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. We were going to sign a 2 year lease but the guy let us sign a 6 month lease, so that's awesome, just in case things don't work out or whatever. We can do whatever we want to the inside of it, including building another floor level, putting up walls to make more rooms, adding more sinks or other plumbing, and even subletting it out to whoever we want. I'm sooo excited and tripping out a little at the same time, since I'm super broke right now, and have got to work my ass off to be able to afford this. I'm trying not to stress about it already, since we can always find other artists to rent out the back room for a month at a time or so, and I'm thinking of all the possibilities of the space. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So..........any of my friends who come to visit up here in the next 6 months (hint, hint, guys) will get to see this awesome place and meet all the other amazing artists over there. First thing I'm doing......painting the Yellow Brick road on the concrete floor in the center of the main room, swirling out towards both of the doors. Yes, I am a huge nerd, but if you're reading this, you love me anyway.
We can start moving in our stuff in about 2 days when they've finished cleaning up the place. The utilities are all included in the rent so that's great, since we'll have a kiln running a lot, which otherwise would cost us a fortune.
I'll post pictures when we've got this place all fixed up and are ready for an opening party. :)
</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>
So, I was going to go back to my old job at Target for 2 days a week, but it would be 10 hour shifts starting at 4am on Monday and Wednesday, and that would throw off my whole sleeping schedule becasue my other 2 jobs I usually work 10am-7pm. The old job called me up and said I was written back into the schedule, and I was like, Ummmm....yeah, about that..... I don't think I can deal with 3 jobs and never having a day off (though I don't usually have any days off even with just the 2 jobs) so they told me they'd cross me off the schedule and leave my status as "on leave of absence" for a few more months in case I decide to come back. Don't think I will, but it's cool knowing I have something waiting for me if I need extra cash or something.

My other 2 jobs are really cool, and I still have a little bit of free time, though not as much as I'd like. I have all these ideas for art projects floating around in my head, but I'm always busy with something else. Plus, I have a new art show pretty much every month that I feel bad about becasue I keep just moving all my same old stuff from place to place with nothing new added to it. Everything i've been making lately is a commissioned piece that I give to the person I've made it for right after I finish it, so i have nothing left to show. Gotta haul ass on some new stuff.

I had a lady email me about selling my art in her new gallery opening up next month, but it's an hour away, so I'm not sure if I want to keep a bunch of dstuff in there that potentially could just sit around and not sell. I like moving my art from place to place, and like having all my stuff local because it's a pain to drive around to do out of town shows. One art group I'm a part of has out of town shows, and that's cool because we load up all the group's art into a huge van and someone else drives and hangs the show, then takes it down and brings it all back to Eugene for us. Pretty freaking sweet.

I'm setting up a new art show tomorrow at a local bar, and am not sure if I should bring my stained glass art along, since I'm afraid things may get rowdy down there and something could get broken... or just vibrate right off the wall because of the music. I have to remember to ask if they have insurance for art damage. I always forget to ask about that, but luckily I've never had a piece broken. Stolen, yes, but not broken.

Okay, I've gone on way too long, and I'm not sure if anyone reads these anyways, so I'll get my ass up and get some painting done.
</itunes:summary>

I've been so bus with my 2 jobs and am getting ready to go back to my old job next week, so I'll be working 3 jobs and have no days off at all. I've deceided I'm going to call the placve I'm going back to tomorrow and tell them I'll work as long as they have me scheduled right now, but tell them I want to be written out of the schedule ASAP and quit there for good. There's no way I can work 3 jobs and still stay sane. Especially wehn I don't like that one I'm going back to. The other 2 are cool, though.

I've been trying to arrange art making parties over here but not too many poeple are showing up, and everyone flakes out. Damn flaky artists! I'll admit I can be flaky, too, but the last couple months I've been really pumped up and excited about trying to have these art parties and do collaborative pieces with poeple, but now I'm running out of free time. Oh well. Sometime soon.
</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>
Just finished framing that window I was working on and the lady is coming by to pick it up Sunday. Just in time to pay a few bills that are due Tuesday! I posted the picture in my "Jamie's Art pics" section and deleted the old one I had up. Wish my camera were better. I have to get someone to take a super nice picture of it up in a big window. I had to sit this one in my sliding glass door, but I wish there were nothing but the window in the picture. Oh well.

Now I finally have time to work on some painting s and sewing some more funky little things to sell at the craft fairs around town. There's a cool art/craft festival they have in Boston every year called the Bazaar Bizarre, and I'd love to go to that and sell some things. The vendors they have make the coolest stuff. Anyone heard of this thing? They have a website that has links to the sites of all their vendors... it's pretty cool to check out.

My friend Emma is working on a website for me and wants to use different kinds of animation in it to build up her portfolio, so I'm really excited about it. It might take 6 months to get it all up, but I'll keep everyone posted.

Gotta clean my house now. Was supposed to do it last night, but instead I sat on my butt in front of the computer. I'm going through Law & Order withdrawals right now! Can't wait 'til the Olympics are over! I should just get cable again, but then I end up sitting in front of the TV all day and get nothing done. I pretty much only watched Law & Order, Conan O'Brien, and Extreme Homes, and all the home remodeling shows. Yep, I'm a dork.
</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>
Just wanted to tell everyone I posted a picture of the window I've been working on in my "Jamie's Art pics" section of my photos on here. It's a goddess figure that is supposed to look in the style of the Virgin Mary, but the lady I'm making it for wanted it more of a mother nature type figure. The picture isn't too good, but the sun was going down. I don't have it framed yet either here, but I'll take some good pictures of it all finished in the sun tomorrow. The colors were picked out by the lady I'm making this for, and aren't colors I would have picked myself, but I think she'll be happy. I'm just excited to be done with it so I can walk around in my living room again without having to squeeze past the big window taking up all of my coffee table. Hope everyone is doing great!
</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>Just started this painting a few days ago and posted a picture of it in my photos in my "New Art" album. I figured I'd see what kind of suggestions I could get on where to go with it now. I have the basic idea of what I'm going for here, but don't know what to do with the background. I think I want to make it a couch they are sitting on, with maybe a hardwood floor in the background with a fluffy rug under their feet. What do you think? I'll take a better picture of it when the sun is out..... if I'm ever up when the sun is out, that is</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>
Today was a really good day. I spent 3 hours at the local stained glass store with a lady I'm making a window for, just picking out all the glass for the window. It's a Virgin Mary type design, but she wanted it more of a goddess figure than a Catholic image, so I had her hands outstretched instead of praying, with a sun floating on top of one hand and a moon floating above the other. She's floating in the air above a stream, and there are mountains in the background. I moved the rays of light you typically see around the Virgin Mary into the outside border of the piece, and added some corn growing up into one side of the window, since the lady who is having me make this just married a guy who is a corn farmer. They are having a new house being built for them, and want to design their living room around this piece. It's pretty big; the second biggest window I've ever made, so it might take a few weeks to find the time to finish it, but I'll post a picture on here when I'm done. The ladty picked out some colors of glass I wouldn't have chosen myself, but I think it will still turn out pretty cool.

After that I went over to another lady's house to bring her a bunch of glass spirals I'd cut for her with my glass saw, and we sat around gluing them down on her pieces of wood she uses for her mosaic mirrors she makes. Looks like they'll turn out really cool looking.

Gotta run to start cutting some glass for this new window. :)
</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>
Okay, so I thought I'd have more free time to post things on here and meet some new people, but I've been super busy lately.

I just posted some new pictures in my profile pictures and my other picture section, if you look through the one called "Jamie's Art Pics". I wonder how many pictures we can upload on here. Anyone know the limit?? Hmmmm.

I just started working on a new painting a couple nights ago. It's two women in their underwear sitting facing eachother on a couch. The perspective on it is as if you were taking a picture of them from directly above them. One is reaching out her hand touching the leg of the other girl. Can't decide yet if I want to paint them nude of leave some clothes on them. I'll post a picture of it to get some opinions on it as I get a little ffurther along on it.

I've been working with an artist couple, helping them out with their ebay store, so that's been fun. They're really cool people, so it's fun being around them. I've also been working with the satined glass artist, cutting out spirals in glass for her mosaic mirrors she makes. I'm actually covered in glass right now and still wearing my gloves. I got online to order some more blades for my glass saw and figured I'd get on here for a minute before I started driving my neighbors crazy with my loud ass saw again. Okay, they've had a long enough break, I think. Gotta go make more noise before the sun goes down and they get super pissed.
</itunes:summary>

      <itunes:summary>
I feel so lazy today. I usually am up all night and go to bed anywhere between 4am and 8am. I set my alarm for 10am, and hit the snooze button until about 1pm! It goes off every ten minutes, so I didn't get much sleep in, but I seemed to have really long dreams in between the alarm going off. Had some crazy ideas for clothes to sew, but since I didn't draw them down right then I can't remember them now. I usually sleep with a pencil & sketchbook next to me, so I can write down any crazy ideas I get as I'm waking up, or in the middle of the night. I always think I'm such a freakin' genius at the time, but when I'm fully awake and read what I've written or sketched, it can be pretty hilarious.

Anyway, I was supposed to meet with a lady I'll be working with doing stained glass mosaic art, but she put it off until Monday since she fell and hurt herself the other day, and isn't organized well enough to get started just yet. Tomorrow I meet with another guy to help him & his wife out with some work from their art business, so I'm glad I'll be keeping busy and be able to pay off some bills that have been piling up. I ended up going to an art supply store and buying some new oil paints to try out. I nknow I should finish a ton of other projects before I start something new, but oh well. Every time I have an art show coming up, I have about ten pieces half finished, and I never know what to finish first, so I spread all my crap around and turn my apartment into a disaster area. Gotta run to work on some painting :)

      <itunes:summary>
Wow, today was a pretty cool day. I've been sewing these little tampon purses out of felt that all have smiling, happy tampons sewn on them. They're pretty funny.... I have a pic of some of them in my photos on here if you wanna see. Anyway, I ran around to a few local places to try and sell them, and it looks like I'll be making a bunch more to bring around to other places. Got back home from that and had an email that I just sold another piece I had up on my art store at Etsy.com. Cool.

Then I met with a really nice guy who is starting a sushi bar here in town who was referred to me by someone who told him I was a good artist. He wants me to make 6 or 7 geisha masks for him, because he plans on having nude girls covered in nothing but banana leaves, with sushi on them, lying on tables, wearing these masks. He wants to have this thing once a week at his place. People will be serving/eating sushi off of the girls. Pretty fun idea.

After that, I got a call from a lady who wants to pay me to cut glass for her mosaic business, since she has little time to do it herself and is behind in a few projects. She's really nice, so I can't wait to start working with her.

Next, a really cool local artist called me up and asked if I'd like to help he & his wife out with 10-15 hours a week of work having to do with his ebay store, shipping, and inventory. He and his wife are both artists, and do shows together and are both really awesome people.

Got some more sewing done at a weekly "Stitch & Bitch" sewing group I go to at a cool lillte restaurant in town and got to hang out with a couple friends. Pretty fun day :)

Now I have to whip up a piece of art for a group show I have to set up tomorrow at 4pm. I've been slacking on painting, since I've been way into sewing the past month. Gotta run so I can go and get something made.

      <itunes:summary>Hi everyone! Just joined and wrote up a ton of stuff for my profile.... then it wouldn't go through and I kept getting an Error message. Oh well. I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not frustrated. I'm excited to see Aries, Jade, & some other people I know on here. Those girls are too cute! Gotta get my ass to bed now before the sun comes up, then figure this website out tomorrow.</itunes:summary>
