<itunes:summary>Tons and Little has been going on with me all at the same time. Mostly I have just been working at Raging Burrito which has been super stressing me out b/c my boss wont honor our agreed upon schedule and I am getting really burned out and tired of it. I thought everything was going to be great, but he gets more and more high maintenance while it gets harder and harder for me to make myself go to work. I really want to stay at Raging Burrito until the end of the year when we start preproduction on Consumed, but I am starting to wonder if the best thing for me is to find something else until then to reduce my stress level.

Not much going on as far as my production company. Right now it is just a waiting game on the money and investors....and I am not a patient person, so that is no fun. Zombie Cat did participate in the 48 Hour Film Project this past weekend.

The 48 Hour Film Project is where a whole bunch of film teams draw genres from a hat, and are given an object, character, and line of dialogue that have to appear in their short film and have 48 hours to make it in. This is our second year participating and it was even more fun this year. We didn't really do any preparation unlike last year, and didn't feel any pressure, so we just had a good time. Which is good. Break downs could have been on the horizon, considering that our genre we got was Historical Fiction, and the character was a Meteoroligist , and object was a frozen beverage....way to make it difficult. But we did finish...and we made something even more ridiculous than last year. It was so nice to just have fun considering that I have been just dealing with the business side of film over the past few months and I had kind of forgotten why I loved it so much.

I recently assisted on a photoshoot where my friend Jimmy photographed Amber for Deviant Nation. I know Gwin is going to be super busy this month with all of the new girls going up but hopefully the set will be accepted....and speaking of July. Can I say how amazing it is that we are going to get a new girl every day??? I am so excited. It makes me reminise about the site back before it launched and we were all just beta testers. Man it has come a long way.....It appears though that July may be boob job month.

Tons and Little has been going on with me all at the same time.

      <itunes:summary>

I got off work on Tuesday night and went home and sat around for a while waiting for Tori to get off work. One hour went by and two hours went by. I decided to finally go up to Taco Mac and wait on her to get off. That turned into me sitting up there for another hour drinking about six glasses of tea. Poor Oyle kept coming to make sure I was okay. I was fine. Just sitting and reading the book I bought 1001 Best Things to Do In New York. By the time I got through I was geeking out pretty bad about getting to New York.

Tori finally got off work and we drove the three and a half hours to Valdosta. Instead of going to bed however, I decided to stay up trying to comb and cut the dreads out of my hair. It was a lot of work. And we wont even discuss the nastiness that was my dreads. Eek. Then I woke Tori up from her three hours of sleep and we went over to Megan's where she cut my hair and shaved the sides, doing a pretty spectacular job. Then we went and picked Bob up and went out to lunch at Wooden Nickle. I am nostalgic for the days when I worked there and it definitely is not the same place now but nothing beats those Camel Riders.

Then we went up to Ink Addiction where Bob began a tattoo on my leg. It is a Dalek from Doctor Who and is pretty rockin. I just didn't get to finish it b/c we had to leave to go over to Cook High. I told Jeremy and Jake I would take pictures of their performance of Night of the Living Dead and actually got some cool shots. It was a pretty stellar performance. I was impressed.

Then we headed home to dye our hair. That would be the orange road cone hair that you see in the pictures. We finally got to sleep and four hours later, got to get up to drive to Jacksonville to fly out to New York. The plane ride was pretty uneventful and Megan handled it like a champ considering how scared of flying she is. The shuttle ride from JFK to our hotel room definitely woke us up. We were staying at the Herald Square Hotel.

It is just a block from the Empire State Building and is the old Life Magazine Building. I suggest the hotel to anybody staying in Manhattan just b/c the price was great and everyone was really helpful there, not to mention the location. When we first checked in, the girl said that they had upgraded our room for free.

We were excited until we saw that upgraded meant back past the lockers and service area, around the corner, and into the boiler room. We had a window but it opened up to wall. Lol. The bed was so comfortable though and the bathroom was huge. We called Sin and she brought Diesel and Skunk down to our room where we got to meet all of them for the first time.

We weren't sure how much time we were going to spend with them just b/c our money situation wasn't what we had hoped it would be, not to mention we had never met them before. They were just people we talked to on a regular basis on deviant nation. However, they were AWESOME. We went out to grab pizza so that we could have a New York slice. It was super yummy. Then we walked around Time Square. The smells, the lights and all the people was exactly how you would expect Time Square to be.

We walked around for a while and Diesel bought a cheesecake from Juniours. We sat in a corner of a hotel and ate the entire thing on the floor and just talking. We finally made it over to see Crybaby on Broadway. It was a pretty good show. I wish that the songs had actually been songs from the movie but I was very entertained and considering that it was Previews, we got a good buy on the tickets.

Saturday morning we got up and went to get Bagels with Diesel. We sat in their hotel room and ate them while staring at Skkunk and Sin trying to get them up and moving. Then we made our way to Coney Island....which was harder than it should have been. We got pretty confused about the subway but finally made it there two hours later. Coney Island was neat. There was a Shoot The Freak vendor where you pay money to shoot a heavily tattooed guy with paintballs. I am a bit disturbed by the notion that there are people that want to do that.....

There were things still up and running like the Wonder Wheel and Cyclone. We couldn't find the Coney Island Museum so we gave up and ended up going to the New York Aquarium instead. We headed back to our hotel rooms which we did a better job with the subway this time. We took naps and were up to go have Dinner with MissD and her husband. We had planned to meet them at a place called Burgers and Cupcakes. But we got there right as they were closing. Sin told the girl that we had come such a long way to have a cupcake and the lady said we could have some for free. "Some" turned into five boxes and about $85 of cupcakes. They really were the best cupcakes I have ever had.

We ended up meeting MissD and MR_ED at a 24 hour Diner close to there that had some of the worst food on the face of the planet but really good lemonade. Then we walked back to our hotel where everyone dressed up in their "New York City" booty shorts that we bought earlier in Time Square and Skunk schooled us on "Superman That Hoe."

I am so glad Megan got that on videotape. Finally I made it off to bed. On Sunday morning, Megan and I went with Diesel to find the FAO Schwartz store. We also found this rad Apple Store which had just a glass box that you walked into that had a spiral staircase leading down to the actual store underground. In the FAO Schwartz store we got to not touch all of the really expensive toys. However, we got to see the piano dancers play the songs from the movie BIG and we got to see all of the Legos displays.

Then the whole group, including Skunk and Sin went to go meet up with Ray (singer of Full Blown Chaos) in Chinatown. We were supposed to be meeting up with him at a restaurant but we couldn't find it. Sin called to tell him we were on Pell St and couldn't find him. Well it turns out Pell St is where people get kidnapped. Lol.

We eventually found him and he took us to a restaraunt that had no sign and was underneath another restaurant. The food there was amazing. I ordered this crab dish that I couldn't figure out how to eat. The server actually commented on my lack of knowledge, laughed at me, and then walked away offering no help whatsoever. We then walked around and instead of buying things from the vendors (other than my fedora which I didn't haggle with them over the price b/c yet again I was uneducated)

Ray showed us a warehouse in which the vendors actually buy their stuff from. It had so much random crap. I bought a shirt for my sister and a coat for me. Then we went over to the Kid Robot store. Nothing had prices on it in there and I bought a Frank Kozik hoodie expecting to pay $175 for it and got out of there with only paying $50. Very cool. We got some ice cream (yes it was cold out) and parted ways with Ray. We then went out to Queens to get tattooed. Sin, Diesel and Skunk had already made arrangements to get a Old Dirty Bastard Cupcake tattooed on them with an artist there.

Megan and I ended up getting a green New York apple with brass knuckles tattooed on us to commemorate the trip. We were there for about ten hours. We then were walking back to the subway at 4am in a fairly shady area of town. Thank god we had Diesel. We got home and wanted breakfast.

The hotel actually gave us a flier to a 24 hour breakfast place that would deliver to the hotel. At 6am, we hugged Skunk and DIesel and said our goodbyes to them since they were leaving in the morning and went down to our room to get some sleep. Me and Megan got up the next early afternoon and headed over to the Museum of Modern Art. We had lunch at an Irish Pub called Connelly's beforehand. MOMA was awesome.

I wish I had taken my camera in. Everything I had read on the website said we couldn't but there were people taking pictures everywhere. Then me and Megan went back to the hotel room and took a quick nap before walking to Gramercy Park to eat at East Japanese Restaurant. We had been talking the whole trip about finding a sushi restaurant that had sushi on a conveyer belt and we did! It was so freakin good. Then we walked around TIme Square a bit more to spend the last of our money in Midtown Comics before heading back to the hotel room.

We got up the next morning and met up with Sin and headed back to the airport. We checked our bags and sat and talked for a while before finally sadly parting ways and flying home. I am so very sad that the trip is over. I spent it with such great people. This is definitely one of those landmark trips of my life.
</itunes:summary>

By the time I got through I was geeking out pretty bad about getting to New York.Tori finally got off work and we drove the three and a half hours to Valdosta. We were staying at the Herald Square Hotel.It is just a block from the Empire State Building and is the old Life Magazine Building. The smells, the lights and all the people was exactly how you would expect Time Square to be.We walked around for a while and Diesel bought a cheesecake from Juniours. I am a bit disturbed by the notion that there are people that want to do that.....There were things still up and running like the Wonder Wheel and Cyclone. Then we walked back to our hotel where everyone dressed up in their "New York City" booty shorts that we bought earlier in Time Square and Skunk schooled us on "Superman That Hoe." I am so glad Megan got that on videotape. We then walked around and instead of buying things from the vendors (other than my fedora which I didn't haggle with them over the price b/c yet again I was uneducated) Ray showed us a warehouse in which the vendors actually buy their stuff from. <itunes:summary>My apartment is a mess but i think i will spend my evening playing online as opposed to cleaning. gah. all i have been doing is working. i agreed to pay my sisters part of the bills this month as her christmas present. i am kind of regreting that now. and in the meantime i am doing things like buying friends dn accounts!! Theia Go say hey!

Christmas was good. got to see my friends and family. My uncle has Alzheimer's. My parents had not been forthcoming about how far he has deteriorated. That was a bit depressing to come home to. The whole group of friends went to see Walk Hard. It was okay. I think the bar has been raised on comedy and walk hard just didn't add up. it was more just over the top ridiculous, than funny.

Sweeney Todd, on the other hand, is AMAZING.When I heard that Tim Burton was doing Sweeney Todd, I was elated! I am of course a huge fan of his and Sweeney Todd is up there as one of my all time favorite musicals. It’s hard to separate the Stage musical from the movie in my head because I’ve literally grown up knowing the play pretty well. The odd thing is, that the movie follows the play pretty closely, yet manages to be quite different. The play is dark, sick, satirical and incredibly funny, in a similar vein as the ‘Tigerlillies’ or Tom Lehrer’s 'Irish Ballad'… The movie is more of a musical slasher film… which is a pity because the sick comedy (that mostly made the play for me) is underplayed for gore. It looks good of course, Colleen Atwood is her usual brilliant self. The performances especially the singing is much better then I though they would be, but Depp’s doesn’t replace the booming deep voices of Sweeney that I’m used to. On the up side, the Sailer boy’s portrayal is better in the film then on any stage I’ve seen. Most versions have him looking like a super square guy who looks like his name should be Lance, and he’ll be starring in the next rendition of some Disney on Ice show. It’s a pity we don’t get to see him finally run off with Joanna though, that’s generally seen as the only ray of hope for the entire story….
And for all of the film’s willingness to get its hand’s dirty the play seems to insinuate that the Judge probably comes pretty close to molesting Joanna on a regular basis, not just staring at her through a hole in the wall… The biggest difference for me, I suppose, is that in the versions I’ve seen before… you’re sort of ‘with Todd’. Depp’s Todd feels like a villain, where as I’m used to Todd being the protagonist, where you rout for him and revel in the sick things he does. It is a fantastic time though...and I hope to see it again very very soon.

On the way home from Christmas, me and my sister stopped and spent our christmas money on porn. lol. One of the places that we have stopped a few times on the interstate was having a going out of business sale. I kind of spent 150 dollars. *le sigh* I accidentally got a movie with JadeStarr in it which is pretty awesome.

So you guys still haven't seen Mind and Iron, our new short film. Or at least nobody other than Raven has commented on it. You guys should do that. Like seriously.
