They took two of my drummers mixing boards (one brand new and one old) one pair of headphones and 5 pieces of studio effects and a brand new $800 bass guitar..total loss $3,000. Apparently they opened up the window in the basement, took the window pane out and stole the stuff. It must have been a two person job because it's a medium sized window and recording gear isn't light. Luckily my guitar wasn't stolen. Today was round 2 of my teeth cleaning..When the dental assistant went to numb my gums, it didn't work the first two times so a 3rd shot was done, then it worked, BUT now all of the Novacane is working so the whole right side of my face is numbbbbb. I just have to get comfortable with the person that I'm talking to. It was a small tattoo on her hip. I mean wasn't bawling, but she had tears going down her face and her friend was laughing at her because apparently the girl getting tattooed was laughing while her friend was getting hers done. Anyway, I got on the table and the transparent was too big, so my friend Emily had to go back and get the pic smaller. 45 minutes later my outline was done! While at my session my tattoo artist and I were chatting about the recent murder in my hometown and the psycho killer on a bus in Canada. He charged me $20 for the outline..I was like WHOA!! I was pretty shocked at how much it was. So in a few weeks I'll be back to get the rest of it done. After that I went to the store, got some food and now I'm watching a movie. I couldn't have asked for a much better weekend than I just had. This was my first tattoo festival and met a lot of cool people. A girl from the local radio station did tell me that I looked like a guy she went to school with back in high school...so we chatted it up for a bit. Anyway, I can't wait to go again next year.<br /> <br /> Today was pretty boring, they had a live art contest where each tattoo artist had 10 minutes to sketch something on the paper and after the 10 minutes were over then they switched to another persons easel and continued on until time was up and the whole picture was done. I went to a piercing seminar and learned about piercings, piercing techniques and aftercare.
