Hard day

I was running late for class this morning and
I missed my first quiz for my graphics class,
but I made up for it by being the only person
in my class to get a 100% on my second quiz.
And then I won the costume contest for the
halloween event the school had.
I got to scare people because they asked
me to run one of the haunted houses.
People were screaming and running
away from me like I was going to
kill them or something. I chased one
girl down the hall until she tripped.
Then I took my hood off and helped her up.
She didn't get hurt, she was just scared shitless.

Over all an okay day.

Between school and work, I feel like I'm going to die...
I litterally just did turn arounds for 4 days in a row.
I would leave work and go strait to school,
leave school and go strait to work.

I passed out in the library for about and hour tuesday,
but otherwise, I didn't sleep. Wednesday, I litterally crashed
and laid in bed ALL day, and now I'm not ready for my finals
today.

I had an awesome day just hanging out with a friend.
I haven't done that in years.

We barely spent any money at all, but we were able to
do a lot of stuff. We chilled at her house and watched movies,
then decided to go get some munchies (taco bell), then we went
to see a band but got lost trying to find it, then realized that it had
in fact been canceled anyway so we saw a movie instead.
Then we went downtown to the river-side area on "The Landing"
as it's a called (a main party spot in Jacksonville, fl) and looked at
all the pretty boats and water and buildings. Then we went to
"Friendship fountain" which is right next to the Museum of Science and History
which (MOSH) is PERFECT for me. We also went back to her
place and watched some science shows for a little while and had french fries.

We just talked for hours. I discovered she's in a very similar relationship to
the one Krissy and I have. Her boyfriend lives upnorth and they only get to
see one another once in a while. They apparently met online a couple of
years ago and have basically been together since.

Anyway, long story short, I had a good day
with a good friend (who is ONLY a friend)!
It's good to have some friends again,
I'm far too antisocial for my own good.

Yeah, so I'm finally in College.

I start classes at ITT Tech (of jacksonville) in September.

I'm majoring in Computer Drafting and Design and minoring
in 3D Graphics and Modeling.

It's a big step in the right direction with my life and I'm a little
nervous about it and a LOT excited.

P.S.
No, just because I'm studying to become an IT professional
does not mean that I will come fix your computer for free... If your family
you will have to pay me... In hugs.

Mew... Life's been rather boring... Not very fun to say the least.
Work and sleep... Nothing important to report.

I've felt kind of emotionally distant from everyone lately except Krissy.
Not really sure why I've felt this way, I just can't seem to get past this
feeling of separation from everything.

I still don't like my job, in fact I kind of hate it.
If I could make the kind of money I do anywhere else around here
I'd probably take the job right away. The unfortunate fact is, there
isn't anywhere outside of a warehouse or pawn shop that would
hire me for my current price, and I really don't wanna work at either
of those places.

I'm doing my best here but I feel like I'm chasing my own tail...
My life is one tiny circle, it just keeps repeating itself over and
over again. I'm trying really hard to change my situation but
I can't seem to get where I want.

Anyway... God, I feel so fucking Emo right now.

Just spent Memorial day working. This is my life. Can't remember the last time I did something just for me. Seems the only time I splurge is when I'm spending on other people. I live half an hour from the beach and I haven't been there in about 5 years. I work EVERY fucking holiday while my friends and family celibrate and somehow I still can't seem to get ahead. I'm so fucking sick of this routine that my life has. I mean, come on...

I found the love of my life and she happens to be on the OTHER fucking side of the country,

I found a job that would pay me pretty well and I have to deal with lies from the company constantly
at this shit job that I wouldn't work at if it wasn't for the fact I actually need the money.

I moved to Jersey to be with my lady and because of employment issues I had to move back
to hell (aka florida)...

I just wish things would go right.
I just want to be with Krissy. I really don't think thats too much to ask in life, right?

Anyway, what the fuck ever.

Sorry about not updating for a few days...

I have been working at Hollywood long enough.
It took a while for me to actually see it, but I realized the other
day that my DM was someone I just don't want to work with
and I'm happy to say that I did not take my own store with them.
However, yesterday was my last day with hollywood as my store
is officially closed down forever. I went in at 8 am yesterday morning
and Chis and I threw everything that wasn't bolted to the ground away
I took the movie buffing machine, a ton of games and movies, A T.V.
a computer, a monitor, a speaker system (they wouldn't lemme have
the BOSE system... Bastards) 2 Vaccume cleaners, a fridge, a fileing
cabinet, a credit card machine, 2 backup battery machines and a
barcode scanner... Yeah, I got a lotta shit.

While we were cleaning, we were also waiting on the FEDex truck to come
which was schedualed for 9am. sharp. It didn't show... So at 3pm Chris called
fedex and spoke to some people. The Service rep claimed that no pickup's
were listed for our store and the next possible pickup wouldn't be until the next
day, which we were not authorized for as we could no longer come in the store
after that day... Chris spoke to 4 different people including supervisors and
wasn't able to get anyone to help us. and I KNOW I schedualed the pick up
myself 4 days earlier, so I decided to call. So, I call them and speak to a lady
and was super polite and she worked on it, she called dispatch for us and
no more than 10 minutes later Fedex was at our door, ready to pick everything
up.

It just goes to show that when you make people feel really good about themselvs
and treat them with respect, nothing is impossible.

Also, I went into a job interview today. It went really well, The lady said that
I basicly had the job the moment I walked into the door, I just have to wait for
my background check to come through and I'll start in at almost double what I
made at hollywood for less responcibility, although she wants to put me into
training to be an assistant as soon as I finish the entry training.

On a final note, my sister got married. So YAY for her.
She moved in with her new husband in their new house.
It was a great wedding, everything went smoothly and
everyone got along. I was happy to be able to donate the
tables and chairs for the reception so they didn't spend a
whole lot of money on that.

Yay for good dentists!
I finally got to the dentist today.
I was the first person in line so I was seen pretty quickly.
My dentist was awesome. He used a solution to numb
my gums up before he used the needle. I had no trouble
with the needles. He started breaking away at the tooth
and I still felt a lot of pain so he gave me more novacain
and went back to work on it, but I STILL felt a lot of pain
so he gave me even more... He gave me a TON of
novacain. I still felt pain through most of it until about the end
when he litterally just stabbed the nerve to kill it and pried the
tooth out whole. I was trying to meditate through the procedure
to numb out the pain and I think I did okay.

He gave me Vicoden for the pain. My grandparents went
to the store for me to get my perscription but they took
4 hours so all the novacain wore off and I was in a shit
load of pain for a while until I got tired of waiting and drove
to the store myself to get it.

Right now I'm flying high on about 1200 milagrams of
Vicoden and 500 Loritab.

Yay! My kilt fits!!!
I lost a bit of weight on my new diet so my kilt actually fit.
Krissy bought it for me over seas and didn't know my size
so she got one that was 4 sizes too small but with all the
exercizing and dieting I've been doing I was able to get it
on today and I was so excited I decided to wear it to work.
I'm wearing it tomorrow too for St. Patties day.

I'm going to the dentist tomorrow. I can hardly wait for these
teeth to be pulled, they hurt like a mother fucker.

Oh... Yeah, my parents tricked me today...
My mom came home with a plate of food and claimed
that all the meatballs were Soy, but in fact were not,
so I ate meatballs today. Yeah, I'm super pissed about it
but it's too late now.

I'll have to start it again tomorrow.

Eh, Julie (my old boss) came into the store tonight to say hi.
I felt kind of bad cuz I was too tired to really clean and prepare
for her arrival. The store wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either.

Other than that, I had a fairly busy day, pulled in about 6-7 grand.
3/4's of that were all me... I hate the way we have to do the paperwork
for the liquidation sale. I'm really ready to just be done with it.
6 more days left till closing.

Still not really tempted by meat, although it feels kind of like my family is
teasing me about it... My parents came home with barbaque chicken today
and offered me nothing, so instead of having a decent meal, I had
Raman noodles for lunch, and I had to leave work for that... Maybe
I'm over reacting, but it really pisses me off that they couldn't wait until
I went to work to bring that shit in. C'mon, it would have only taken
another 5 seconds.

Anyway...

Le sigh...

I missed my update yesterday, but I'll try not to do that too often.
Okay, so yeah... I found out today that the last day my store is going
to be open is next Friday. The guy I've been working with asked me
if I wanted to go to his store as a shift leader and work for him.
While it was nice to be asked, that would mean I'd have to travel
over an hour each way every day for 7.20 an hour. It's just not worth
the gas and wear and tear on my car. Especially when I was offered
a job 5 miles from where I live at a pawn shop for 15 an hour plus
commission. I also have an interview at CVS for 12 an hour doing
exactly what I do now.

Unless they offer me a store of my own, it's just not worth the stress.

I would have finished the crunch bar, but my teeth were begging me to stop.

So, yeah... I get to spend all day tomorrow at the dentist office getting tortured
graciously by a student while he/she removes my back molar and possibly
surgically removes my wisdom teeth. I just hope I get some really good
pain killers, and that mother fucker is going to have to use a ton of gas on me
cuz that shit is gonna HURT!!!

Okay, I have decided it.
From today on for 3 months, I shall no longer eat meat.
Infact, I'm gonna start a log of what I eat on a daily basis
to keep track of what works best to keep me energized
and help lose weight.

Also, I HAVE to go to the dentist thursday.
Theres a dental school near by that does free procedures.
I just have to take a whole day off of work because I have to be there
at 6am and wait for them to call me up.

I hate Hollywood right now for fucking me over with my benefits.

Home again from work.
Things are going okay I guess, coming closer and closer to my store closing.
This liquidation sale is really depressing, and more so as the shelves get more
and more bare. Oh well I suppose, it was a good store but this closing may actually
have been just what I needed. I guess I got a little comfortable in my situation.

Okay, so heres the deal. I may be able to work something out to get myself a store
of my own in New Jersey which is where my lovely and wonderful future wife lives currently.
If I can do that, I know of a really nice area that has apartments for rent.
I found one the other day 3 bedroom for $1k a month, which anyone who
lives in Jersey can tell you thats a pretty good deal. I just need two people
to move in with me to afford it.

One of my friends here in Florida said she may want to move to Jersey with me.
That would be awesome, but I still need at least one more person to move in
before I can actually get things ready.

What I'm saying is if any of you are interested, or know someone interested in
moving out to their own place, please let me know. I need all the help I can get.

I just got home from work.
Funny story. I work at Hollywood Video currently, but I USED to work at blockbuster.
Well, today I am working at one of the registers and suddenly walks in the door my
ex-district manager from Blockbuster. The guy looks at me, recognizes me and starts
up a conversation.

This is the same mother fucker that tried to fire me because I used a police discount coupon
ONCE to give someone a free movie and build customer relations.

Okay, so I'm looking at him and I commented that I know how the store turned to shit after
I left the company and how when I left 3 people were caught stealing (which he tried to
accuse me of but had no proof, as it was not true). Also how his district for blockbuster is
one of the worst profit districts in the nation (where as it was number 2, all countries combined
when I was there). He stopped for a moment, stared at his binder for 5 minutes and nodded.

He also asked me if I wanted to come back to work for him. I informed him that
if he wanted me back he would have to pay me $80,000 a year, give me my own store in Jersey,
offer me ALL benifits free, 2 FULL paid weeks of vacation a year and NEVER tell me how
to run my store.

I gave him a number in which to contact me, although I don't really expect to hear from him.

My teeth are killing me, I've had tooth problems for the past few years and I'm supposed
to have dental through my job, but for some reason when I tried to go to the doctor the
insurance company claims I don't have an account with them, although I've been paying
for it for over a year now.

Also, my head feels like it will implode.
Damn chronic headaches.
