What a week! http://deviantnation.com/members/Raia/81552 [Deviant Nation] Raia's Journal Whew! What a week! Raia My week started off at the Guilty Pleasures Halloween Party. I was really happy to see some old friends there and meet some new associates. What made it worth my night was to play in rope with Blaque, a shibari artist. The whole performance was amazing! Blaque had this charisma about him, which I tried to play off of. It wasn't up to the point I was hanging in the air and swinging up as high as I could go did I realize how blissful it was....there was one point I swung up and he caught me at the highest point and held me up there........it was pure adrenaline throughout! The fashion walk was short and quick. I had the pleasure to meet new connections and will hopefully create some great working relationships with them in the future. Then my boi and I went to the Seattle Aquarium on Saturday. My favorite exhibit was the sea otters eating. I could never get tired of going to the Aquarium or the zoo. I have yet to see the salmon climb up the ladder. I think I might've seen it once at the Ballard Locks. Then on Sunday, I spent a couple of hours at Lucky Devils getting some shading done on my sleeve. It was just cool to hang out and talk to Jesse. He's really sweet and I'm loving the sleeve more and more as things start to take shape.  On Tuesday,  the news about the election was very exciting. It wasn't till I got home from the polls did I hear the news. Congratulations to change. Hopefully our projected 12.3 trillion dollar deficit for 2012 in healthcare will start to decline.....I was getting tired of hearing people bitch about it and not wanting to change it.....adding money to an already failing system did not make sense to me. Well that's about it......I'm suppose to do another shoot today for an ad....I told them I'm heavily tatted...so I hope they are willing to work with it, as there stuff looks pretty mainstream....the photog wasn't too thrilled but the lady coordinating the shoot seemed to think I would be perfect. Cool she liked my port enough....  Well that's it for now! Then I said I would go-go dance and they said it doesn't pay enough. Then I wanted to do the shibari part and another girl wanted to do that and she's willing to be flogged so she got that one for sure.....it was either walk the catwalk or tied to the wall and get painted.....I told them whatever they decide, I'm sure I'll be quite amused (if it's the painting deal). Everything ran smoothly and absolutely no drama!!!!!!!! Last Saturday was the Bikini Bash. I was a little hesitant to go since the bunny bash was a bit chaotic but I got to meet some awesome people. I met Regent of Regent photog and Don Holman, whom I've recognized their work from afar. I finally got to work a little bit with them and they are very extraordinary people. I love meeting people who are passionate in what they do!!!! It's very inspirational and makes me feel really excited to continue on....... I love camping it up!!!! This is Sir mark the poet and Shara with me...I think Penman Imagery took this....I snagged it off of Sir Mark's myspace page...I want to get a copy of this! On Sunday, Miguel Edwards and Miguel Vigil and I worked together for my next DN set. I still have the RAW formats and looked at them once...I still need to pull out the ones&nbsp;I like for editing....hopefully I can meet up with Miguel this coming Sunday for some editing work....I wish I can post a pre-production shot but that wouldn't be fair........oh well.....I hope you guys will like it...I do! It was cool to see them work together....they've been doing this for awhile and they're good at it.... Then last night, I did a group photo shoot. I've never done anything like this before. It's were a group of photogs coming in and rotate as you pose.......It lasted for 3 hours but I felt like I can do another 4 after it was done.....nonetheless, everyone was completely professional and hopefully will produce some cool stuff out of it..... My bf's bday was last Wednesday. I cooked dinner for him but I can't wait till tomorrow. We get to go to a spa...he wants to get a full body massage and I'm planning on getting a body wrap. It'll be cool to use the money I got for the shoot for our little pampering... Ok gotta go! Hope all is well everyone!!!!! Blog yes

I got my new rocks in....and yes they kick plenty bootie.....I plan on sporting them all year round till the sole wears thin. Here's a pic of how they&nbsp;look like: It took forever to get them in...but they're finally here....now I need to scout a photog to shoot me in them....I have one but I don't think I can wait since it's taking forever to set everything up. I'm just being impatient....... Oh yeah, Delerium is playing here in September.....unfortunately I'll be in Cape Cod :( BUT, Imperative Reaction is coming in later that month so this makes me happy...maybe I'll convince someone to go see delirium and buy me a shirt..heh. It was really hard to deal with and I couldn't even imagine what I would feel&nbsp;if it was my own family members in there. I know it wasn't about me but at the same time, I wish there was some sort of miracle that would make things better........... The only thing I could do is be available if/when she needs someone to talk to.....everyone handles things differently. Flower & Snake: Sketch of Hell
This is a bit on the violent side but if you are into dominant with unruly submissives....it made it seem okay.....they incorportated rope quickly and smoothly into each scene....a few cheesey scenes that cracked me a bit only 'cuz they took themeselves a little too seriously but other than that I enjoyed it. It took me a few days to sit through it and this is even fast forwarding to all the money shots....

I really loved this one....it incorporated so many things; rope, latex, masturbation, boy/girl, and drama in such a beautiful way.....I love great presentation and this was done very well......


Other then that, I've been doing an "experiment" with my boyfriend. We are doing a 'trial' run of living together just for a couple of weeks. So far so good....I do admit we had a rocky start in the beginning but it's towards the end of the trial and it's been smoooooooooth sailing... :P

Oh and I also wanted to share my new hobby! I've hooked up with my good friend Miguel. I MUA/hairstylist with tons of experience doing fashion runways, catalogs, etc, etc and we're shoot together....my being the photog of course...hey check it out....tell me what you think!



This is my friend Ella....she was gracious enough to be my model for this shoot...it went off really well and I think we produced some awesome shit.  I'm set up to shoot a runway show next week and models already lined up for some shoots as well.....I've got access to some cool local boutiques and furnitures stores.......look for more!

Other news......I'm still shooting with other photogs myself but with clothes on....well last week it was with snakes.........here's one of my favorites:

Scott Paul was gracious enough to lend his studio for us to play in....I couldn't believe I was able to hold it all up....I think the scariest part was when I started getting a foot cramp. Oni was able to squeeze his hand in and massage it out. It took maybe another 5 to 10 minutes till I was able to relax. After that I had to keep flexing my foot to make sure I didn't cramp again but most of the time, I felt completely relaxed.....by far one of the craziest shoots I've done......Oni kicks ass! <br /> <br /> <br /> Blog yes

My ex had a couple of people from the drug scene over. Normally I wouldn't even care anymore but the fact that my name is still on the lease til the end of the month is getting me worried.
