Post Thanksgiving Er Visits

On Friday night around 6:50 Melissa got Caitlynn up from her nap and came in saying she was burning up. We took her clothes off and let her set for a second to see if she cooled down. When it looked like she wasn't, we took her temperature and it was at 102.2, so we rushed her to Patti A. Clay. While we were there they made us wait about 15 minutes until I pretty much kept walking in front of them with her and made them feel guilty enough to get us in. While in their ER she had according to the UK doctors a feveral or febral seizure from rapid heat increase and threw up everywhere. I noticed it and said something but Patti A Clay did nothing. We were there for almost 7 hours waiting and finally some idiot of a doctor( who switched out with the dr we started with) came in when her temperature was fine and said oh she has para influenza and said we could go home. So we took her home and gave her some Tylenol and she seemed fine but I stayed up all night because the seizure freaked me out. We were going to take her to the pediatrician at 9 am but about 7 am in the morning Melissa freaked out and showed me that Caitlynn was shaking badly when I went to look at her she had another seizure. I said screw it and we rushed her to UK.

As soon as we walked into the emergency room she threw up and the desk people just kinda stared blankly until I screamed 104 temperature and seizing and puking. They rushed us into the back room and immediately checked her out. They explained the feberal seizure and sent us to a room to wait for the doctor. The doctor took about 5 mins to get there and then they checked her ears and said they were infected(patti a clay said they were a little red), then they did a urine test(patti a clay said it was unecessary) and found she had the early stages up uterine infection. Well they gave us antibiotics, and specific instructions to give her motrin every 6 hours and tylenol every 4 hours.

We got home about 11 am and I was exhausted so we got my mother to come sit with Caitlynn and Melissa. Caitlynn was happy as could be, the motrin and tylenol worked. She has been on the anti-biotics and doing great, shes been very hesitant to have either of us leave her for more than a few minutes but that is okay. Melissa watches her during the day and I stay up all night and early morning so we can keep the schedule, it just means that I have had veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery little sleep.

On a side note when I was going to sleep saturday morning the pediatrician called us and told us that patti a clay had run a blood culture and found she had an infection (they told us she was fine and there was no infection, i think they were covering their asses). I told her what happened and she said never bring her here take her north if that happens again. I readily agreed with her. If I ever run into the little Indian Dr. on the street I will be hard pressed not to punch his damn lights out.

That whole episode scared me to death. I felt helpless and the seizures scared me because I had them as a child, it was the only reason I knew what she was having. I don't ever want to have to go through that again. After everyone passed out I just broke down and cried because I had been doing nothing but watching her and Melissa to make sure everyone was okay.

Saw the trailer for the new Friday 13th film. Don't think I am going to like it. It shows Jason running after a victim and thats just not cool. He never needed to run after a victim, thats why he was so damn scary.

As my shoulders and neck decide they no longer want to work right, I get to enjoy immense jolts of pain when I get pinched nerves from time to time. Ahh the goold old days of 23 when I wouldn't know what a pinched nerve was if it bit me. Anyways, I hope things are going well for you are in DN land.

I recently went to nightshift again for the first time in 8 months. It sucks to try and transition times, especially when you have a baby. On the upside I get to spend more time with her in the mornings and put her to bed when I get home at night. The money is wayyyyy better and I enjoy what I do so I can't complain. I hope things are going well for the rest of the deviants out there. Once again another cute little pic of my daughter(can ya tell I'm proud?).

I put more pictures of my daughter in my folder since she is growing like a cracked out chimpanzee. I love her to death, she just makes like laugh every minute she is awake. Her mother and her are about an hour away tonight and they always bugs me when I try to go to sleep because I am so used to her making a ton of noise. I don't know how I'll get to sleep tonight.

I'm just uploading pics and updating journals since my life is boring at the moment and consists of nothing but work and changing diapers and the occasional home repair. The most excitement I get tonight is I am able to watch diary of the dead and the muppets season 3. Woo Hoo. Oh well I gotta jet and get back to doing constructive things. Hope everyone is doing well if I haven't heard from you in a while.

Moving

I have been moving for the past few weeks so I am sooooooooo far behind on this site. I haven't had time to view the sets or anything :(. I can't wait til I get the cable turned back on at the new place because I really wanna see AppleJax set, since I think she's just totally hot. I hate having to borrow a phone modem connection but at least it lets me post some form of update. Hopefully I can get back up soon and start whiling the hours away at the nation.

Medication Inflation

Well I'm high as a fucking kite on painkillers at the moment. I had to have a tooth pulled today and between it and the roots, it was almost as long as my pinky finger. Hence, i'm popping painpills like tic tacs. Other than that my life is just sort of doing loopy loops with reality. MY girlfriend told the landlord we would be moving out by the first of february and well we haven't found an apartment yet. She leaps without looking and I thought by now she would have realized to slow the hell down. Nor has she realized when she has the cesarian section that I can only take a week off work before I have to go back to 6 days a week since I'll be the only one bringing in money. Some times it sucks to be the only one thinking logically. I'm pretty sure i'm just rambling cause of the pain pills but ehh fuck it.

On a side note, I like the direction the site has taken lately with the models and the groups etc. It is turning into a right comfortable place.

I'm up into the wee hours of the morning trying to get a bunch of crap onto the Ipod I got my gf for christmas so its ready for when she opens it. I'm playing the romantic sucker and put the pictures of the ultrasounds on her picture files. Hopefully that will end my ordeal of lets make more pictures every other day.

I also got the weapon of choice video for her since she has some insane obsession with christopher walken and one of the songs from Hairspray. I'm debating on putting all her music on there but I'd probably end up putting something on there she doesn't like so I'll just go with what I know.

Are any of you going that extra mile for someone this christmas trying to make it special?

Found out they are making a new KnightRider movie with the son of Micheal Knight driving a "NEW" Kitt. I don't know how I feel about that, but I thought it would be funny if the did a modern update of it this way.

Due to rising costs and outsourcing the company couldn't afford to spend as much money on a new version of Kitt, so they hired Illegal Immigrants to build it. Basically you get a tricked out Pinto. The voice and language is in Spanish. So every time something critical happens Kitt says. "Los sistemas son ningunos van Michael". I'd pay to watch that.

I'm one of those people that loves their alone time. It doesn't mean I care less about a person it just means I like to do my own thing. My gf doesn't understand this and constantly wants to do stuff with me. She calls me several time a night at work etc. I just am not that kind of person. Its gotten worse since she became pregnant. I mean I love her and love spending time with her but some times I like to sit in a dark room and work on computer stuff till the early morning. I'm hoping once the hormones balance out peace will come.

Linux insanity

Finally got the flash and shockwave viewer to work yay!!! Allows me to actualy use chat and view other things. I been playing with Linux off and on for about 2 weeks now in my spare time. I haven't used it in 6 or 7 years so I figured it was about time I gave it a try again. So far I'm having fun with it other than a few minor frustrations such as using ndiswrapper to get the wireless card working, but I am wondering if it would be easier to just give one of the new usb wireless devices a try.

On a different tangent. GROUPS!!!! YAY!!!!

We went and had an ultrasound done today to determine the sex of the baby. I was really excited. I didn't know they could show you the flow of the blood through the baby with that thing. It was neat as hell. Now just comes the waiting game of when the baby is due in April. So.... Here is my turn to be proud and start showing pictures no one wants to see.

This is when we had the first ultrasound. I was so happy. I was the father of a dot.

This one is the ultrasound from today. At least now I had something I could work with.

These as you can see are the arms of the baby. I was happy we got a picture that looked like the baby was sucking it's thumb.

We got pictures of the feet and I got to laugh because it started kicking while we were looking at them.

I have no clue what this actually is a picture of, but they gave it to us

And last but not least....

It's A Girl !!! And her name will be Caitlynn Mae.

Oh well cheers. I"m off to celebrate more.
