I've been putting it off... but I suppose I'll write a real SF trip journal:<br /> <br /> Part of my trip was spent on UCSF's campus.&nbsp; For those of you that don't know I am applying to phd programs and UCSF is one of the programs I am interested in.&nbsp; It's a good school and the visit went very well so I think I have a fighting chance.&nbsp; <br /> <br /> On the DN side of the visit, it was an awesome weekend seeing old friends, making new ones, and making new ones old ones.&nbsp; I could list dozens of names but I am going to only mention one... because it's funny.&nbsp; <a href="http://deviantnation.com/members/janejett" class="member" rel="tag">Janejett</a>.&nbsp; Only because she failed to even mention me in her journal.&nbsp; Now that the name dropping is done...<br /> <br /> My roommates were 2 really cool ladies.&nbsp; They put up with my dorkiness pretty well.&nbsp; They were very laid back and made my trip a lot more fun than it could have been.&nbsp; I even vegged out and watch random tv with them.&nbsp; I have nothing but love for both of them (even when one of them fails to mention me).&nbsp; <br /> <br /> I pretty much hung out with same small group I hung out with the most in Austin in SF.&nbsp; Sans one because he was busy &quot;entertaining&quot; *cough* I do not think I will ever forget my trip to and from Fisherman's Warf... haha.&nbsp; You guys know who you are... if I mention you then it kills my joke but I thanked you all for the kick ass time when we were still in SF.&nbsp; <br /> <br /> The event WAS SPECTACULAR.&nbsp; The powers that be (you know who you 3 are) did such a good job... I'm thrilled the event broke even... I hope this just increases the size of the site and keeps the ball rolling for future events.&nbsp; You deserve A LOT of rest and respect.&nbsp; Actually I am breaking the joke for one person <a href="http://deviantnation.com/members/chixor" class="member" rel="tag">Chixor</a>!&nbsp; I had fun getting to know you during the event... haha drunken Jesus.<br /> <br /> On the final night I got to sleep next to a drunk, naked lady... I'll let your imagination run wild about who (and there were THREE beautiful, inteligent, wonderful ladies in my room that night.. so ha!... and one of them snores).&nbsp; <br /> <br /> None of my new friends (or old) be strangers.. just strange ;-)<br type="_moz" /> Blog yes
