Getting out of town for the 4th of July as long as my car doesn't explode.

Tattoo convention the weekend after the 4th.

After the convention a couple of bands are playing locally...an ACDC tribute band and a Motley Crue tribute band. Booyah.

This past week has been pretty damn fun.

I found myself at the airport on Wednesday morning before the sun was up, waiting to fly out to San Francisco to hang out with Jersey, Gwindylyn, and Satan. I was a bit wiped out from the flight out there, but that passed after a while. Gwindylyn and Satan have a damn cool little kiddo. I don't think I have ever encountered a kid as happy as he is. It's amazing.

That night, skwirl, omniphiliac, lancelot, and smuve415 all came over to hang out and have drinks and play video games and eat food. I think that Satan grilled up an entire cow. I would have eaten more, but I was too busy trying to put back the massive drinks that Gwindylyn was making. I love whiskey.

The next day I wasn't doing too well. I think that the combination of booze and sleep deprivation did a number on me. My stomach was a mess, and that carried over pretty much until I fell asleep after getting on my flight at 1130 last night.

I landed in Manchester at about 9 this morning and hopped in my car and went to work. When I got here, I was happy to see that my dev machine is fucked; don't know how, and don't know why, but I don't feel like dealing with it today.

The next time I am out there, we should play Halo3 BEFORE I start drinking.

Also, I got some pretty good pictures, which I'll try to post tomorrow.

I have to get to bed soon...

Hopefully that is the next step for the Terminator franchise.

This new tv show is a big pile of cybernetic doo doo. It stars the crazy chick from Serenity and Leonidas' wife from 300 (who i remember being a lot hotter in 300). Hey cool, Serenity chick is a Terminator. "Come with me if you want to live." I really don't think that I do want to live anymore. This has to be one of the first signs of the apocalypse.

I wonder how many of the poor douche bags on this show that play a terminator called up their folks to say "Hey mom, I finally did it! I'm playing the terminator! No. No, it isn't a movie. It's a tv show. Yeah you make a good point. It is a bit better than being back at Jack In the Box." Then two weeks later, they're back at Jack In the Box.
